Protein Waffles

Do you find yourself always feeling hungry, have little energy, and experience muscle pain more than usual? You may be deficient in protein! Don't fret, many women are deficient in protein so you are not alone.  One of the best ways to build up your protein intake is to consciously make sure you're taking some of the amino acids in during every main meal of your day-breakfast, lunch, and dinner! One great way to sneak some protein into your breakfast is by making protein waffles.  I used this recipe by Tone It Up and tweaked it a bit to make some delicious peach flavored waffles perfect for a summer morning!

Peach Protein Waffles
1/2 banana
First, follow the linked recipe to make the base of the protein waffle. Then, cut your peach in half. With one half, crush the peach in a bowl in order to get it into smaller pieces and release some of the juices. Then pour this mashed up peach into the waffle batter. Pour batter into waffle maker until golden brown. Top with peaches and agave. Enjoy!!!
